770 L Street features an interior remodel/upgrade of the first floor main lobby, second floor parking lobby, restrooms, corridors, and elevators. This 14-story corporate building houses businesses such as law firms and special interest groups. The complete redesign took what was a boxy, rectangular lobby with hard surfaces, and re-interpreted the architecture within the same surrounding walls to create a softer, more approachable interior. The square soffits in the ceiling were replaced with round forms accentuated with a patina paint finish and intersected by floating glass panels. Natural materials were also incorporated featuring geometric forms and way-finding elements.
