The 53,447 sf Roseville Civic Center expansion of the existing 17,457 sf City Hall was completed for $14.1 million, which includes $3.5 million for utility relocation and infrastructure improvements. The primary purpose of the building is to provide a central location for all permit processing and bill payment functions serving the City’s customers. The facility also serves as a catalyst for revitalization of the central city urban core that has experienced a steady decline over the last 25 years. While the “one-stop” permit center is designed to serve the business needs of the City, the city block-wide plaza, anchored by a 400-year calendar, serves as a central gathering place for residents and visitors.
