Sacred Heart Parish School is a brand new, state-of-the-art private catholic elementary school campus in one of the most premiere neighborhoods in Sacramento. The school is nearly 75 years old, but required movement to a new location due to the expansion of its neighbor, Mercy General Hospital. The new school was designed as an all-inclusive, $16 million, 42,000 sf campus which includes a 2-story classroom wing building, a multi-purpose building with cafeteria and stage, an after school program facility and green and hard court play areas. The school was created using full brick veneer, terra cotta detailing and decorative metal fencing reminiscent of the East Sacramento neighborhood and the original Church to evoke a welcoming, permanent addition to the community. Classrooms offer smart technology, naturally day lighting and teaching environments for the 21st Century, all of which secures Sacred Heart Parish School among the greatest elementary educations in the Sacramento region.
