Originally designed as large corporate dining hall for 200 people, this private corporate banquet facility is being re-purposed to create a more intimate VIP dining experience for 50 guests at a single table. The client hosts several VIP events throughout the year and wanted to create a true five-star dining experience for its most important guests. By special invitation only, guests will arrive to a formal foyer that boasts an enormous skylight canopy over a pre-function space. A large dual sided fireplace anchors the space, leading people to a more intimate bar and breakout space off the main foyer. Opposite the main fireplace is a palatial entry into the Grand Banquet Hall. The main banquet space is defined by a new barrel vaulted central volume accented by double rows of columns to delineate the side aisles. Reminiscent of historic Grand Ballrooms, the space creates a once in a lifetime dining experience. Working in conjunction with HBA Associates, Williams + Paddon provided conceptual, schematic and design development services and is continuing to provide ongoing design oversight through construction.
