The building is sited on the prow of a hill, commanding a view of the course and surrounding ridges.  It serves as a backdrop to the 9th and 18th greens, promising the relief of the “19th hole”.  Site design gives arriving golfers easily recognizable options to access the main lobby, the golf shop or the golf staging area.  Grade differentials are used to advantage by placing the clubhouse above the cart storage area.  A stone base conceals the cart storage and anchors the building to the hill.  The building subtly wraps into the site contours, hinged on the main lobby that commands a view focused on the course’s signature oak tree.  Bar, dining, golf-shop and course are all easily accessed from the lobby.  The dining facility and Pyramid Bar & Grill address the view of the 18th green providing flexibility between dining spaces for different functions and positioning the kitchen to service all dining spaces.
