05.04   Karatu Medical Clinic 4-Part Article Published in SFGate
Williams + Paddon has been working with Dr. Frank Artress in conjuction with the Foundation for African Medicine & Education (FAME) for the past 4 years to erect a medical clinic in Karatu Tanzania. The San Francisco Chronicle hashas followed Dr. Frank's philanthropic work and recently published a series of articles, videos, and slideshows documenting his efforts.

Two Williams + Paddon projects recieved awards at this year's Sacamento Business Journal Real Estate Projects of the Year event.
 
02.25   Benvenuti Receives a CASH Honor Award
At the 2008 Coalition for Adequate School Housing (CASH) Annual Conference, the Benvenuti Performing Arts Center recieved a Leroy F. Greene Award of Honor. The statewide award program recognizes public education projects that are profoundly making an impact on their campuses.

05.31   The Canyon Club Strikes Gold
At the 2007 Gold Nugget Awards, The Canyon Club at Fairway Canyon received a Merit Award for the Best Public/Private Recreational Use Facility.

 

05.31   Blazing Saddles - A Study of Alternative Energy
The month of May was bike commute month, during which Williams + Paddon employees and their families rode 4,248 miles in support of alternative transportation. As result of all of the company support a video was made documenting our experience.

The SMUD Customer Service Center, despite being designed in 1991, 9 years prior to the invention of the LEED® rating system, has achieved the highest rating of LEED Platinum Certification EB.
